Playtime at Jackie’s

Here we wanted to channel a seaside event. The weekend that we played with these ideas was fourth of July weekend, so I’m sure we had a beach holiday on the brain! Here we used real seashells and burlap to tie on a wrist corsage. What a fun look!

Today I want to share with you all some photos that we had taken a little while ago at the flower shop.  We dedicated an entire weekend to some playtime!  It can be a little challenging to get people to get creative with their weddings unless they can actually see your ideas.  This poses a challenge to us to earn our clients trust to have more creative freedom.  So this little mini shoot was dedicated to trying some more unconventional ideas and playing with colors and textures.  We hope you enjoy our work and let us know what you think about using some of these ideas for your special day!

Here is our sea-inspired bouquet. There are mostly dried flowers and wild grasses mixed with more seashells. Touches of succulents kept this bouquet looking trendy.

Some of our ingredients…
This look was reminiscent of a more garden style or victorian look. Soft yellows and warm coppers for an intimate event.

This color combination was so fun! Electric blue hydrangeas mixed with a dusty pink and plum branches…what a piece of art.

One large succulent with some pretty ribbons is a great statement for any bridal party to make!

This color combination was my absolute favorite out of all the styles that we played with! Not to mention the cherries that dangled from the tip of the slight cascade…
